What is the Reorder PDF tool?
Reorder PDF lets you reshuffle the pages of a document without re-scanning, re-printing or rebuilding it from scratch. Drag thumbnails into the right order, reverse the whole document, move a single page to a new position, or swap two pages — whichever fits the job.
Reordering is lossless. We rebuild the PDF using the original page content, so fonts, vector graphics, links and form fields keep working exactly as they did before.
How to reorder PDF pages
- Upload your PDF — a live thumbnail strip of every page will appear in the workspace.
- Pick a reorder mode: drag thumbnails for manual ordering, reverse the whole document in one click, move a single page to a new slot, or swap two pages.
- Click 'Convert & download' to get a new PDF with the pages arranged exactly how you arranged them on screen.
Why use our Reorder PDF tool?
- Four reorder modes — manual drag-and-drop, full reverse, single-page move, or two-page swap — so the action matches the intent.
- The live preview shows the new order before you commit, with a 'Reversed' badge when reverse mode is active.
- You can type the new order as a number sequence (e.g. 3,1,2,4) if you prefer keyboard input over dragging.
- No re-rasterisation: the underlying page objects are simply rearranged, keeping text searchable and quality untouched.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to list every page when I type an order?
Yes — manual mode expects every page exactly once. Use 'Move' or 'Swap' mode if you only want to touch one or two pages and leave the rest alone.
Will the file size change?
Reordering alone keeps file size essentially identical. If you want a smaller file afterwards, run the result through our Compress PDF tool.
Are bookmarks and outlines preserved?
Bookmarks are updated to track their pages to the new positions, so jumping to a section from the bookmark panel still works.
