What is the Merge Images tool?

Merge Images stacks any number of JPG, PNG or WebP files into a single tall PNG. It's the easiest way to assemble a chat-log screenshot from many smaller captures, glue together a long receipt scan, or build a single image you can drop into a slide or document.

Every source image stays at its original resolution. We don't compress, crop or downscale — the output is exactly your inputs, stacked top-to-bottom in the order you uploaded them.

How to merge images

  1. Drop two or more images onto the page, or click 'Choose files' to pick them.
  2. Drag the thumbnails to reorder them — the topmost image will sit at the top of the final PNG.
  3. Click 'Convert & download' to receive a single PNG containing every input stacked vertically.

Why use our Merge Images tool?

  • Lossless stacking — pixels from each input land untouched in the output.
  • Drag-and-drop reorder so you don't have to rename your screenshots first.
  • Mixed formats welcome: JPG, PNG and WebP can be combined in one job.
  • Output is always PNG, so it stays sharp even when text or thin lines are involved.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens if my images have different widths?

The output is sized to the widest input. Narrower images are centred on a transparent background so nothing is cropped or stretched.

Can I stack images horizontally instead?

This tool only stacks vertically. For more complex layouts, merge what you need into a PDF using Images to PDF and rearrange pages there.

Is there a limit on how many images I can stack?

The workspace shows the current per-file and total upload limits. Within those, you can stack as many images as you like in one go.
