What is the Enhance Image tool?
Enhance Image makes a flat or slightly soft photo look noticeably better without you having to learn an editor. We normalise the contrast so dark areas stop looking grey and bright areas regain detail, then apply a subtle sharpening pass to put crispness back into edges.
It's the right tool when a phone photo comes out hazy, when a scanned page looks washed-out, or when a product photo needs a little punch before it goes online — without the risk of over-editing.
How to enhance an image
- Drop your image onto the page — JPG, PNG and WebP are all accepted.
- Use the live before/after slider in the workspace to see the change. Drag the divider left and right to compare.
- Click 'Convert & download' to save the enhanced version.
Why use our Enhance Image tool?
- One-click improvement — no sliders or learning curve required.
- Contrast normalisation rescues underexposed and washed-out shots.
- Subtle sharpening sharpens edges without that crunchy 'oversharpened' look.
- Live before/after slider so you can see the change before you commit.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will my photo look fake or oversharpened?
The defaults are intentionally restrained. The goal is to make the photo look like a better version of itself, not a heavily filtered one.
Is the original resolution preserved?
Yes. The enhanced image has exactly the same dimensions as the input.
Does this remove noise from low-light shots?
Some perceived noise reduces as contrast is rebalanced, but this isn't a dedicated denoiser. Heavily noisy shots will still look noisy.
