These terms govern your use of DocBlender (the “Service”) operated by DocBlender. By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please don't use the Service.

What the Service does

The Service offers free, browser-based utilities for converting, merging, splitting, compressing, signing and otherwise manipulating PDF, Word and image files. The tools run on our servers; the results are returned to your browser and the inputs are discarded immediately. We do not provide accounts, storage or synchronisation.

Acceptable use

• You must own the files you upload, or otherwise have the right to process them.
• You may not use the Service to process content that is unlawful, infringes intellectual-property rights, contains malware, or violates the privacy of others.
• You may not attempt to break, abuse, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the Service or its underlying infrastructure.
• The “Unlock PDF” tool is intended for documents you own. You agree not to use it to remove protections on documents you do not have the right to modify.

No warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the output will meet your requirements. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of any files that matter to you.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DocBlender will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, including loss of data, profits, goodwill, or any other intangible loss, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Because the Service is provided free of charge, our aggregate liability is limited to the greater of (a) zero or (b) the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Third-party services

The site displays advertising provided by Google AdSense and uses Vercel for hosting and aggregate analytics. Use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content of ads served by third parties.

Changes

We may change these terms at any time by updating this page. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the new terms.
